My article for Deccan Herald argues how an interdisciplinary approach to higher education in India would help develop better learning skills and encourage wider student engagement at all levels. My own experience teaching an interdisciplinary course at Ahmedabad University - How Music Shapes Cities - Varanasi to NYC has brought this message home.
