Moods & Melodies: Music for Pandemic Times - Ahmedabad University

It was such a pleasure presenting Moods and Melodies: Music for Pandemic Times for the music club of Ahmedabad University. The interaction with the audience after the presentation was an enriching experience. Music has a unique way to set the mood - whether for a moment or an entire evening. Melodies or ragas of classical music underlie most of the music we listen to - whether a Hindustani bhajan, Carnatic krithi, filmi song, or even background music. Moods & Melodies: Music during Pandemic Times is a journey through a variety of moods with songs from across India - classical and more, where we see how melodies indeed can shape our moods, even in these trying times.
