Ashtapadhis of Jayadeva - A Playlist
The magnum opus of the 12th century Bhakti poet Jayadeva "Gita Govinda" describes the love between Radha and Krishna. The lyrical poem is divided into 12 chapters with 24 songs called 'prabandhas' where each prabandha is grouped in 8 verses called "ashtapadhis".
